Underneath the wrapper you’ll find Nicaraguan Criollo 98 & Corojo 99 leaves that are grown on the Garcia farm and aged for 3 years. After the expected Pepin-esque blast of black pepper, the wrapper provides a honeyed citrus peel and cedar overcoat to the sultry filler tobacco full of dark cocoa, vanilla cream, roasted almonds, and cherry stem. Evolving as it slowly burns to include espresso, toffee, and nutmeg, these medium-strength yet utterly full-bodied toro grandes will leave your senses battered yet crying out for more.
